As a Recreation Attendant reporting to the Recreation Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of The Darling Pool and The Turbines Health Club. You’ll ensure both areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, while actively seeking opportunities to create memorable experiences for our guests. To succeed in this role, you must be a confident swimmer and demonstrate a proactive, guest-focused approach.

A few of your responsibilities

• Create a welcoming and safe environment for all guests at The Turbines Health Club and The Darling Pool
• Prepare and serve beverages and assist with food service from In-Room Dining
• Provide guests with clear instructions on exercise equipment when requested
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across all front and back-of-house areas
• Enter the pool and assist guests in the event of an emergency, ensuring their safety with confidence and care

What we will be looking for

• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• NSW RSA Card (or interim certificate)
• Confident swimmer
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills
• Confident to make quick decisions
• Flexibility to work across the pool and health club operational hours

About you

With your unique experience and skills in customer service and first aid training, you will ensure that every guest has a safe and memorable experience. Your approachable and helpful demeanour will see you as the first point of contact for our guests during their time relaxing, exercising or exploring the properties facilities.
