The Project Manager, reporting to the Senior Manager Communications & Change, will be responsible for overseeing designated projects and resources to ensure their successful delivery in alignment with The Star Sydney’s strategic goals and stakeholder expectations.
This is a fantastic 4-month opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for our communications department.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Plan and manage projects using The Star Sydney’s methodology
- Control project scope throughout its lifecycle
- Support business case development
- Create and maintain project plans with timelines, milestones, budgets, and resources
- Ensure delivery of key outcomes and contractual obligations
- Meet budget and timeline targets efficiently
- Coordinate with senior managers to assign and complete work on schedule
What we are looking for:
- Degree or diploma in project management, business, commerce, technology, or equivalent experience
- Certified in PMI and relevant project management methodologies
- Skilled in managing internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Experienced in project-related procurement
- Proven success delivering projects on time, within budget, and to scope

You’re confident managing stakeholder relationships, navigating procurement processes, and aligning project outcomes with business goals. Your experience spans the full project lifecycle, and you’re comfortable working within structured delivery frameworks while adapting to evolving priorities.
You’re known for your integrity, accountability, and collaborative approach, and you thrive in environments where ownership and continuous improvement are valued.
