The Senior Management Accountant, reporting to the Senior Commercial & Analytics Manager, will deliver high-quality, service-oriented management accounting support for The Star Sydney. This role ensures timely delivery of key deadlines and alignment with The Star Sydney’s policies through effective business partnering.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for our Finance team.
A few of your responsibilities
- Perform management accounting tasks including journal entries, accruals, cost allocations, and month-end support
- Build engagement plans with stakeholders covering deliverables, site visits, and communication channels
- Partner effectively with the business, focusing on data accuracy, financial insights, and continuous improvement
- Deliver accurate monthly reports with P&L variance commentary to support financial understanding
- Meet all internal reporting deadlines
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CA/CPA qualified
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position
- Microsoft Excel skills and experience using TM1
