Are you our next rising star?  We are looking for a Senior Analyst Financial Crime Intelligence in the Risk Department. This role can be located in Sydney, Gold Coast, or Brisbane.

We are seeking a People Coordinator to act as a point of contact for general administration and employee services requests, including supporting some employee relations queries.

As our Senior Analyst, reporting to the Senior Manager Financial Crime Intelligence, you will provide financial intelligence analysis skills to contribute to the Financial Crime Line 2 Financial Crime Intelligence Function under the direction of the Head of Financial Crime Governance, Regulatory Engagement and Intelligence and Intelligence and Senior Manager FC Intelligence.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will perform a wide range of complex and in-depth financial crime intelligence activities including intelligence analysis of TSEG’s holdings and open-source information, in support of The Star’s AML/CTF Program, and assist with TSEG’s intelligence relationship with AUSTRAC and Law Enforcement Agencies.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Collate, analyse and evaluate complex information from a range of sources including TSEG holdings and open-source information.
  • Assist with the FC Intelligence record keeping framework, such as SharePoint and the FC Intelligence shared Inbox.
  • Analyse Open-Source Intelligence alerts, analysis and referrals to the FC Risk Operations teams.
  • Identify and classify potential financial crime risk.
  • Work in an efficient manner to complete all work tasks accurately and within the allotted timeframe, support and mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of accountability, collaboration and respect.
  • Apply sound judgement, expertise and knowledge to make independent decisions and escalate red flags.
  • Develop and maintain conducive working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Remain up to date with industry best practice and maintain a detailed knowledge of the relevant Financial Crime typologies relevant to the Casino Industry.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience providing analysis in a financial crime environment
  • Excellent organisation skills, specifically within process management and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in terms of written (documentation) and verbal (e.g. facilitating workshops).
  • Tertiary qualifications in a subject that requires a high level of critical thinking
