The Star Entertainment Group (TSEG) is a publicly listed company on the ASX. Our purpose is to create fun at trusted destinations and our aim is to deliver sustainable outcomes for our guests, our Team Members, the communities in which we exist and our shareholders. We do this by providing entertainment, gaming, and leisure experiences in a safe, responsible, and ethical way. We will do this by embedding our values to lead the organisation with a focus on safer gambling and good business practices.

Our properties across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sydney are world-class with many award-winning hotels, restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues.

The People Services Administrator role reports directly to the People Services Team Leader, and the People & Performance department plays a critical role in ensuring that our workforce is engaged, well-supported, and aligned with the company’s vision of delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving business growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you can support and enhance our HR administration processes, contribute to improving employee services, and ensure seamless integration within our larger team-oriented environment.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Maintain HRIS, manage employee records, and ensure efficient handling of data and systems; provide support for system inquiries and improve team efficiency
  • Provide efficient and accurate administrative support for all employee information management (contracts, global mobility, employment statement and service)
  • Prepare and issue employment agreements and amendments as required.
  • Resolve queries and recommend process improvements in People Services.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

What we will be looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • 1+ years of HR experience in a similar role within a complex organisation.
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage high workloads.
  • Understanding of Australian workplace legislation, particularly around employee agreements and movements.

About you:

You are a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You’re excited about supporting a team and playing a role in creating efficient HR systems that help people thrive. With a focus on service excellence, you’ll work well under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism when resolving employee queries.

Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our People & Performance department, ensuring accurate employee information management, and contributing to a positive work environment that supports our broader organisational goals.

Please be aware that eligibility checks may be required as part of the recruitment process and ongoing employment for this position.
