As the Assistant Gaming Manager, reporting to the Gaming Manager, this role offers an extraordinary opportunity to both lead and inspire the Electronic Gaming team, providing a positive and memorable guest experience.  This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for Gaming at The Star Sydney.

A few of your responsibilities: 

  • Supporting the Gaming Managers to oversee the daily gaming operations 
  • Motivating and engaging team members to continuously improve and deliver guest excellence 
  • Promoting a positive working relationship across the team 
  • Ensuring the integrity of the company & gaming machine operations 
  • Passionate with fostering team members achieving their career goals

 

What are we looking for: 

  • Excellent relationship building skills and interpersonal/communication skills 
  • Strong understanding of casino rules, regulations and reporting requirements 
  • Previous Gaming Machine supervisory experience working in a Casino Industry 
  • You are a current Gaming Supervisor with at least 6 months experience in this capacity 
  • Completion of GLDP 2 is highly desirable 

 

About you: 

You will need to demonstrate accountability, resource management, cost control and effective leadership in people management coupled with effective communication and motivational skills.  You are also available to work in a rotating roster that includes Days and Night shifts. 

Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our Electronic Gaming operations at The Star Sydney.  Join us in making a difference.
